Week 6 layout

Made this with Memorymixer.. Quite late in submitting this online on YMBD.. anyway, thought this shud be a bit simple so that the photos pop out well!

Instd of having the backgrnd colourful with the photos, and giving a headache to the viewer! Made half of this ovrnite, til 4am.. as i was too engrossed..

Anyway the week was abit boring, so i thought how do i put such a few photos on a layout? there we r, my usual routines on a week that i dnt have much to do.. either i go walking and notice how quiet the street is, or i do some reading or gardening..

Latin Fest - July 12 2009..Had so much fun making this layout

This was a fun layout i made.. becoz i made a guitar, an origami box in which i put my journal tags..plus i made a blue tulip on which i put FUN with liquid pearls.. The title LATIN FEST was spread arnd edges of the box..Made a Drum to resemble one of those used by the Samba band, drumsticks were toothpicks with brown ink n glue on one end.. The photos r of the samba band which i enjoyed listening to, then at another stall they had free dance displays where ppl just walk up n dance.. it was fun getting inspired by them.. Wish mum was with me, as she n i used to attend dance classes for 4months in Lanka! Those were the fun times back at home! I guess its time for us to brush up our dancing..since shes now here in Canada..

Week 5 Layout..

Spent my week, admiring various buildings and the architectural work on them.. Fascinating to see old Victorian, British or French buildings arnd..

Totally enjoyed reading this book.. enjoyed reading on the deck.. The heat is awesome, its finally sunny!!

A layout with two repeated photos.. for the YMBD July challenge.. Some random pigeons and gulls and one cute sparrow in the center.. So many pigeons flock arnd here, since its nice and warm..

I just luv the heat here, but i miss the beaches.. Toronto sucks for having crappy beaches!

Week 4 Layout for Summer Contest

This is like the coolest layout iv done so far.. Had fun making it, altho it did get tricky when making the curvy background cuts.. Glad this turned out well.. Im up to date with my Summer contest submissions, altho i was like 3weeks behind..

Hmm.. just received some embellies from Eyelet Outlet, and they were so cute! Gona make some layouts for the Monthly Challenges on YMBD..
